To lose a parent is a harrowing experience. To lose a parent a few days before your wedding must create a very difficult decision for a couple. The bride lost her father days before her wedding and decided to carry on with the marriage, as it would have been what her father would have wanted. In honour of her father, a balloon release was performed after the ceremony.

A moving and emotional experience, we feel greatly honoured that we were there to capture the event on film. There was a raw juxtaposition with the sadness of their loss and happiness of their marriage. My hopes are that this short film of the balloon release goes in some way to help the couple with the loss and be a lasting memory of how much Peter was loved as a father, friend and family member.
